Meleka and Incisive have worked together a few times most famously on ‘No One Wants to Be Alone’ taken from Incisive’s ‘Him & Her Valentines EP’. But he recently asked Meleka to make a cameo appearance in the video for his latest single In-Ci-Sive.

Towards the end of 2011 Meleka was very busy working on not only her own musc but managed to squeeze in a few features as well. Not only did she hook up with Mr Harry Shotta for the summer hit ‘Xtravagance’ she also teamed up with Tor Casey for the uplifting track ‘Give It Time.’ Check out the video below for the song which is released on 13th February 2012

Meleka was in the studio recently writing and recording with Krept and Konan. Production team Star Squad provided the music and Meleka provided the vocals. As well as being a successful artist herself Meleka is signed to District 6 Publishing so often writes for and with other artists.  Check the pictures below to see what they all got up to in the studio. To mark the untimely passing of Nabila Nanfuka, Meleka was asked by the Nsimbe family to perform this evening at a very special event.

On the 19th October 2011 Nabila tragically lost her  life whilst out with friends at a club in Northampton. Aged just 22 she she is now now longer with us and in celbration of her life, her younger brother Fahad has arranged a memorial service and asked Meleka to sing.

Our thoughts go out to the family at such a difficult time and want to thank the Nsimbe/Nanfuka family for asking Meleka to take part in such a precious celebration.

Rest in Peace Nabila.

Meleka has been a busy lil songer/songwriter lately not only has her latest single ‘Aint For Me’ (released 27th november) been featured on the new Pure Garage cd but she has also been featured on a few singles most recently ‘You Make Me Feel’ with Terror Danjah.

Meleka was on set with rapper Tor (@TorCasey) to shoot the music video for Tor’s  new single ‘Give It Time’ which features vocals from Meleka.

Meleka’s single ‘Aint For Me’ has just been added to the new Pure Garage CD – The Classics. ‘Aint 4 Me’ produced by Dexplicit has been a huge club banger over the summer and was one of the tracks picked to be added to the latest comp in the popular Pure Garage series.
